Educational game
Bek va Lola
Play and learn. Four hundred thousand children, in under a year.
What it is
Bek and Lola are the two characters children learn alongside. The whole product is built on one principle — play and learn — so nothing in it looks like a lesson. The game shipped on both stores and passed 400,000 downloads in under a year, with 60,000 monthly and 10,000 daily active players.
What I did
- Built the game itself in Unity.
- Wrote the backend that serves content and player progress.
- Built the admin panel the team uses to manage content without a release.
- Integrated Payme and Click, the two payment systems used in Uzbekistan, over a single order model.
Notes
The payment layer is the part I am most careful about. Both providers are implemented against one order model in Firestore: every transaction method is idempotent, orders hold a twelve-hour reservation, and a performed service can no longer be cancelled silently. Funnel events are mirrored into Firebase Analytics so the store numbers and the product numbers can be reconciled.
The project is still active — I ship to it regularly.
