A detective story that happens in real time, read like evidence.
What it is
A case that unfolds over several days while you live yours. New material arrives on a schedule — photos, camera footage, messages, calls, testimonies, documents, maps and voice recordings — and nothing tells you what it means. Every file goes onto an investigation board, where people, places and moments connect. At 21:00 the day closes into a chapter you read like a case file. When voting opens, you name the culprit: the earlier you are right, the more points you get.
What I did
- The game design: the daily rhythm of drops, the board, the evening chapters, the accusation and its scoring, hints that reach the top ten earlier.
- The first case, written and scheduled material by material.
- The reader app in Flutter for iOS and Android, in English, Russian and Uzbek.
- An admin panel where a case is written and every file gets its release time, and security rules that keep scheduled files hidden until that moment.
- Scoring and the leaderboard in Cloud Functions, the store listings and the landing page.
Notes
The design problem is the notification. It has to bring you back without spoiling anything, so it only ever says that something changed, never what. The pull is curiosity, not a reward timer.
